The 2001 All Terrain Mountain Bike Challenge (ATMBC) was an invitation-only event.
This ensured the highest level of competition, radical riding and an awesome display of talent. Top riders were chosen from elite freeriders and competitors in downhill, dual slalom and trials mountain bike events.
The 2001 ATMBC was made up of a field of 17 male competitors, including Canadian, New Zealand and Australian riders.
Three riders did not compete due to injury.....nothing too serious, but enough to keep them from riding.
